Care Synergy Welcomes Dr. Emily Guth as New Chief Operating Officer
Care Synergy is pleased to welcome Dr. Emily Guth as its new chief operating officer. Dr. Guth, a registered nurse and physician, will begin her new role on September 21 and brings more than 15 years of healthcare leadership experience to Care Synergy.
Dr. Guth joins Care Synergy from the Colorado Community Health Alliance, where she served as director of clinical operations. Previously, she was vice president of clinical innovation at Evergreen Nephrology and held several healthcare leadership positions during an 11-year tenure with Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Her experience spans hospice, care management, palliative care and Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), along with clinical operations, organizational improvement, quality and regulatory compliance.
As chief operating officer, Dr. Guth will oversee Care Synergy’s care delivery, strategic execution and financial sustainability, among other responsibilities. She will help lead the organization’s daily operations and work closely with affiliate presidents, frontline leaders and clinical teams across the Care Synergy network.
The role comes at an important time for Care Synergy as the organization continues working to strengthen access to compassionate, high-quality care across Colorado.
