Pathways team members discuss donors, volunteers, partnerships, and hospice education on Good Morning NOCO
At Pathways, we know that exceptional care is never provided by one organization alone. It is made possible through a network of dedicated volunteers, generous donors, trusted community partners, and compassionate supporters who help us serve individuals and families throughout Northern Colorado.
Recently, Pathways team members Lara Hanes and Natalie Petersen joined Brian Gary and Tanner Schwind on Good Morning NOCO to discuss the many community connections that strengthen our mission every day.
During the interview, Lara and Natalie highlighted the important role volunteers play in supporting patients and families, as well as the impact of donors and community partners who help ensure Pathways can continue providing high-quality hospice and supportive care services. Their conversation underscored a simple truth: when communities come together, more people can receive the care, comfort, and support they need.
The discussion also addressed a topic that remains important to many families—misconceptions about hospice care.
Despite the valuable support hospice provides, many people still associate hospice solely with the final days of life or misunderstand the scope of services available. Lara and Natalie shared thoughtful insights about how education and open conversations can help individuals and families better understand hospice care, empowering them to make informed decisions when the time comes.
By challenging misconceptions and sharing accurate information, we can help more people access care earlier, benefit from additional support, and experience greater quality of life during serious illness.
We are grateful to Good Morning NOCO for providing a platform to discuss these important topics and to recognize the many individuals and organizations that help make our work possible.
Most of all, we extend our sincere thanks to our volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters. Your commitment helps Pathways continue delivering compassionate care and guidance to those who need it most.
We invite you to listen to the full interview and learn more about the power of community in advancing compassionate care across Northern Colorado.
