Reliable Transportation Helps Colorado PACE Participants Stay Connected to Care

Colorado PACE participants report high satisfaction with transportation services, highlighting the importance of dependable communication and access to care for older adults across Colorado

Transportation is more than getting from one place to another — for older adults, it can be the key to maintaining independence, accessing healthcare, and staying connected to community and support services.

At Colorado PACE, providing reliable transportation is an important part of helping participants receive the care and services they need. In a recent participant survey, 86% of respondents agreed that Colorado PACE transportation services were reliable and effective at communicating.

For many older adults in Colorado, transportation challenges can create barriers to medical appointments, therapy services, social engagement, and daily activities. Colorado PACE works to reduce those barriers by coordinating dependable transportation that helps participants safely travel to and from appointments, PACE centers, and other essential services.

Clear communication is also a critical part of the experience. Participants rely on timely updates and coordination to help them feel prepared and supported throughout the process. The positive feedback from participants reflects Colorado PACE’s ongoing commitment to delivering transportation services that are responsive, organized, and participant-centered.

As part of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), Colorado PACE helps older adults remain living safely in their homes and communities while receiving comprehensive healthcare and supportive services. Transportation plays an essential role in that mission by helping participants stay connected to the care they need.

Colorado PACE remains dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality support that improves quality of life for older adults and their families throughout Colorado.
