Care Synergy Welcomes Kerri Davis as Vice President of Quality and Compliance

Experienced hospice quality and compliance leader returns to Care Synergy to oversee enterprise-wide quality, compliance, and risk management initiatives

Care Synergy has announced the hiring of Kerri Davis as the organization’s new Vice President of Quality and Compliance. Davis officially joins the organization on May 18, bringing more than 15 years of experience in hospice care, quality assurance, compliance, education, and operational leadership.

In her new role, Davis will provide executive leadership and oversight for enterprise quality, compliance, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives across Care Synergy and its Affiliate organizations serving communities throughout Colorado’s Front Range.

Importantly, Davis is returning to Care Synergy after previously serving in several leadership roles within the organization, including Director of Education, Manager of Quality, Compliance and Education, and Application Specialist Trainer. Her prior work with Care Synergy and Affiliate organizations focused on quality improvement, regulatory compliance, staff development, operational processes, and clinical education.

Most recently, Davis served as Director of Quality & Compliance for The Elizabeth Hospice in California, where she managed regulatory compliance initiatives, monitored quality metrics, and supported organizational performance improvement efforts.

Over the course of her career, Davis has also held leadership positions with The Denver Hospice, where she contributed significantly to health information management, quality auditing, education initiatives, and regulatory preparedness.

“Kerri brings an exceptional combination of operational expertise, regulatory knowledge, and a genuine passion for improving patient care,” said Tim Bowen. “Because she already understands our mission, our Affiliates, and our commitment to compassionate care, she is uniquely positioned to help strengthen quality and compliance efforts across the organization. We are thrilled to welcome her back to Care Synergy.”

As Vice President of Quality and Compliance, Davis will oversee enterprise-wide quality strategy, compliance programs, accreditation readiness, audit functions, risk mitigation efforts, and board-level quality reporting. The role also includes leadership responsibilities related to regulatory adherence and continuous improvement initiatives across hospice, palliative care, bereavement, wellness, and PACE services.

Davis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with a concentration in Health Sciences from California State University-Chico. She also earned Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) through the Health Care Compliance Association in 2025 and achieved Hospice Quality Certification through NHPCO in 2023.
Care Synergy leaders say Davis’s extensive background in hospice operations, education, and quality performance management makes her exceptionally well-suited to support the organization’s continued commitment to high-quality, mission-driven care for patients and families throughout Colorado.
