Care Synergy has welcomed Jason Upright as its new Director of Human Resources, strengthening the organization’s leadership team as it continues to grow and support its mission-driven healthcare affiliates.
Upright brings extensive experience in healthcare human resources leadership, with a strong background in employee relations, organizational development, and workforce strategy. In his new role, he will partner with leaders across the organization, bringing a disciplined, hands-on approach to HR operations with an emphasis on employee relations, optimizing HRIS technology workflows and data insights, strengthening retention strategies, and supporting a high-performing HR team across the Care Synergy enterprise.
Extensive Experience in Healthcare Human Resources
Before joining Care Synergy, Upright served as Director of Human Resources at Optimal Home Health and Hospice, where he led a wide range of HR functions including staffing strategy, compensation management, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement.
During his tenure, he implemented culture and leadership initiatives that reduced employee turnover while strengthening collaboration across teams. He also improved onboarding processes, enhanced payroll accuracy, and supported multi-state compliance and accreditation readiness.
His work included leading emergency preparedness planning and safety training initiatives—helping ensure operational resilience in healthcare environments.
